I was just wondering no-one wrote the tut for removing / un-installing a plugin. Actually i had to remove a chat plugin and install cometchat so did it tested myself so thought posting it might useful for the newbies and the community.
First You should log into your control panel, and go to phpMyAdmin.
Open your socialengine database, and look for this table: se_plugins
Browse this table, and look for the plugin you installed and check it and delete (drop) it
After, that remove all the files you have related to that plugin you may check with that archive (.rar,.zip) you have. I know this is a lengthy process but its good if you disable and remove un-wanted plugins for security reasons.
And, if you want you can remove the tables that are related to the plugin too. (this way size can be reducing by removing un-wanted tables of that plugin)
hope it was useful.

Hi. in SE4 my event plugin (bought) is corrupt. It doesn't show the layout when clicking on an event only backgroundimage, very strange) in one install, in another it does work. So I want to delete everything and install again. But What are all the files in the core se and in DB? I tried cleaning it but somewhere there's still something hanging on. Can you please help?
