Doesn't seem to work if no one is logged on at all and I'm looking at the guest home page. Anyone know how to get that to work?

Update, to show guests on-line on landing/guest home page, even if NO members are on, look in:

application/modules/User/widgets/list-online/Controller.php

Look for:

// Skip if empty
$count = $paginator->getTotalItemCount();

And REMOVE these lines directly below it:

if( $count <= 0 ) {
return $this->setNoRender();
}

Save. Now even if no one is logged in, it still shows guests on-line. This works on SE 4.5.0. If you like, +rep. :D

I couldnt find it anywhere so i'd look up in the source code and you can enable guests online there.

look for the file: application/modules/User/widgets/list-online/Controller.php

then look the line:
if( $this->_getParam('showGuests', false) ) {

change it to

if( $this->_getParam('showGuests', true) ) {

then it works :) ... i don't know if this can be edited in the admin menu but i couldnt find it
