I'm trying to add my site to a video embedding service (Videoswiper). I have the newest version of SE. I can't add the site because it says "public/video is not writable, please make it writable".

Does anyone know how to do this?

I've opened up the FTP client and then opened the 'public' folder but there's no video file there, or anywhere else. I can't even locate the video folder in the SE script folder.

From what I understand I have to change the chmod setting to 777 (or something like that) but this SE script is very evasive about the video folder/file.

Any help ? ? ?
