WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT fast comet? SHOULD I GO FOR IT?

I contacted and basically interrogated alot of hosting companies.

I went with Fast comet, and couldnt be happier.

 

inmotion claimed they support SE, but that wanted further money from me to set up a server fro SE specs which would take 7 days.

 

Fastcomet set my server exact SE spec without telling them what to enable, from purchase i was installing my site within half a hour.

 

they said once site finished, im welcome to contacted them to run tests on what they can change to enhance the experience.

they actually understand and know social engine, rather than saying yea you can install it.

 

Fully recommend.

The best hosting is Hivelocity dedicated servers. They have 4 separate fiber providers in their building and the best support hands down. I run probably the most successful social engine site to date and started with a very small dedicated server.

Inmotion claim to support but want money each time you want simple change

Fast comet actually know social engine, I quizzed them in live chat for over two hours before going with them

Stay clear of host gator, 7 months in and site died hahaha because the recompiled the server incorrectly and lost the site lol
@paulsj I went for the cloud SSD package based in London datacenter, I think it uses linode DC about $89 a month, the team are fantastic and fast tech team support and know social engine
