Are you doing fresh installation or upgrading?

From the screenshot doesn't seem like a fresh installation tho. Double check cause it seems like upgrading packages to me. I don't know if anyone else experienced this

Hello

I had the same problems

You must use mySQL 5.7 or debian 10.2

and PHP 7.2.34

I uploaded the licence.php file

Then re-started install

It asks for a license key.  I searched for one on the internet and used that

This tells me this is not fully nulled like SE4.6 by TrioXx

But I had the same "not .tar"  issues trying to install the plugins

So I uploaded the packages directly to /temporary/package/archives

Then in admin did install packages and it all worked

But I get error when I try to save Settings/General Settings

But other parts work so far

This is obviously not fully tested

This same version 5.3.3 installed fine for me. I did an upgrade not a full install. The upgrade went just fine and is still operating the way it should. I always install and make sure it works before sharing.

This is the screen you would get when doing an upgrade, not full install. You would only get this screen on full install when installing additional addon modules after initial core install.

I do have the same problem with saving in settings/general settings as well. I don't think it has anything with the nulled files but i think its the code itself from original SE files when then included "Favicon upload" and "Do not sell info". Or it could be our server environment. Regardless, it doesn't effect my site that much without that function.

I have no issues with /settings/general. I installed same Upgrade package as anyone on forum. What could effect saving changes in /settings/general is not properly setting chmod permissions to 777 as instructed by SocalEngine Installation procedures. [777] is "Full Permission" something you would need as an Admin. In /settings/general, any changes would be site-wide, so to save changes, you'd need Full Permission.
